It’s time to dust off those Angel wings and get ready for the glitz and glamour that is the 2016 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show!
The highly anticipated, annual catwalk show is underway right now in Paris, France, and as usual, the world’s most beautiful women are putting their very best glittery heels forward.
Last year’s fresh faces and ‘It’ girls Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid are strutting their stuff for the second year running, while the blonde beauty’s younger sister Bella Hadid makes her VS debut.
The Instagram-famous trio join veterans Adriana Lima, Alessandra Ambrosio and Lily Aldridge, while fan favourites Candice Swanepoel and Behati Prinsloo watch from home this year after both welcoming their first babies earlier this year.
While Lily donned the prized million-dollar Fantasy bra in last year’s show, this year, the item has been bestowed upon 25-year-old Jasmine Tookes.
The garment is believed to be worth $USD 3million ($AUD 4 million), and is crafted from 9,000 gemstones, including diamonds and emeralds. Plus, this bra is allegedly so heavy, it required Jasmine to do specific back-strengthening exercises in preparation for wearing it!
In between all the glitter, lace and sparkles, keep an eye out for our two Aussies: 2015 newcomer Bridget Malcolm and Kelly Gale, who is returning for her third year.
Guest performers include six-time Grammy Award winner Lady Gaga, and Bruno Mars and The Weeknd, who are hitting the glitter runway for Round Two.
The prestigious lingerie show will air at 8:30pm on Thursday the 8th of December on Channel Nine.
