There might be a 24-year age gap, but that’s just a number when it comes to My Kitchen Rules‘s cougar-and-cub couple Cheryl and Matt.
“We don’t care what people think,” HR student Mat, 26, tells NW, and mum-of-one Cheryl, 50, confirms it!
“We’re always shocking people. They shake their heads and are like, ‘You two!’ We don’t have many boundaries.”
And with sexual chemistry as strong as theirs, it’s a wonder the couple of 18 months actually find the time to cook.
“He’s always on! Every day. Sometimes two or three times a day,” marketing manager Cheryl, er, overshares of their bedroom antics. “It’s awesome. He keeps himself very healthy and very well maintained, I must say.”
Ew, TMI!
But she’s not done yet…
“He’s got loads of energy and the libido thing is switched on all the time, which is absolutely fabulous!”

So who hit on who first?
M – I was out with some friends at the casino in Brisbane and she came up to me.
C – I said, “I like your outfit,” and he said, “Is that all you’ve got? Is that your chat-up line?”
The attraction was instant?
C – Yes! He doesn’t have any inhibitions and I’m in a bit of denial about how old I am – I still feel like I’m in my teenage years. You’re only as old as the man you feel!
M – She says to me that she’s 18 with 32 years’ experience.
And did you worry about what your families would think?
M – No, I don’t care what anyone thinks.
C – I was a bit worried at first, but as soon as I first spoke to his mum it was fine. I get on really well with Gail [who’s 57] – I lead her astray!
