A woman is knitting Christmas jumpers for homeless greyhounds

And it’s adorable.

‘Tis the season for giving and one devoted dog-lover is knitting Christmas hats and coats for homeless greyhounds, and doing just that!

Jan Brown, from Sunderland, U.K., has spent more than 4,000 hours knitting 300 festive woollen hats, snoods, and jumpers for greyhounds and other pups in shelters.

The Christmas getup has become somewhat of a tradition for Jan, who runs dog coat business Knitted With Love all year round.

The coats and hats raise money and awareness for greyhound rescue shelters, as well as take a financial burden off the shelters, who can then focus on providing vet care for the animals.

“Whenever I send my parcels off to the rescue homes I feel really proud as I know it’s going to really help the dogs,” Jan told The Mirror.

“There are so many dogs that won’t be rehomed this Christmas so for many of them it’s the only gift they will get.”

Too cute, Jan! Too cute.
