In Australia, because we celebrate Christmas in summer, we have some different traditions from the rest of the world.
For instance, a BBQ, prawns, bathers, and Christmas themed flip flops are all staples we look forward to every year.
Even though every Australian has fantasised about a white Christmas, many of us can agree that going to the beach is superior to sitting around a fireplace.
However, our cultural differences don’t mean we can’t dip our toes into fun traditions on the other side of the pond.
