Let’s be honest: Christmas isn’t Christmas without an amazing Christmas cake. Whether you’re hosting the family for a big Christmas Day barbecue, or keeping get-togethers small and low-key this year, you still need a show-stopping cake — first and foremost for your own enjoyment!

With less than four weeks to go until Christmas, The Weekly teamed up with Harvey Norman to create this stunning sugar and spice cake with caramel and orange cream — a delicious and decadent alternative to the traditional Chrissy pud.

Keen to give your guests a treat with this Bake Off number?

It’s easier to make than it looks (we promise). The yummy centrepiece, which is topped with orange liqueur cream, caramel, toffee shards and edibile gold leaf, serves 24. Which is handy as you just know everyone will be begging for seconds — and thirds!
