Christmas craft: fresh flower wreath

Hang this gorgeous fresh flower wreath to welcome family and friends this Christmas.
Fresh flower wreath

Nothing says Christmas like a festive door hanging. Here are two beautiful examples, making the most of our gorgeous native flowers, for a truly Australian Christmas.

Make sure you have everything you need- all the details are in the gallery- and follow the steps. It’s as easy as one, two, three!

What you need

What you need: A wooden or cane wreath, a selection of flowers (we used waratahs here), foliage, moss and other greenery, cables ties and ribbon.

What to do

What to do: Cut the stems of your flowers to around 4cm. Taking small bunches of foliage and flowers at a time, secure the stems of both to the wreath with cable ties. Keep wrapping until you reach your desired thickness.

Finished product

Hang on the front door with a pretty ribbon to finish. Gorgeous.
