Will & Grace creator teases us with a script from the revival

The reboot will involve a wedding AND a monkey?!

Will & Grace creator Max Mutchnick has sent fans into a tizzy by posting a photo of a script from the upcoming revival series on Twitter.

While most of the internet (including us) is unsure if the script is real or fake, it has made us extremely excited for the reboot!

The script is taken from an episode called ‘The Wedding’ in which Jack asks Will to borrow money (what’s new?), but the pièce de résistance is when Karen enters WITH A MONKEY!

To be honest, this doesn’t seem that out of character for kooky Karen, so it could be legit.

The scene unfolds as such:

JACK: I see where this going. You ask me to be your date, you drink too much, I’m disgusted, you feel uncomfortable and end up giving me money at the end of the night. I guess what I’m saying is, I need to borrow a grand. We can talk about it later when you’re plastered.

WILL: Jack, you read my mind. I guess I’ll go with Plan B. No date.

KAREN ENTERS WITH A MONKEY.

Grace is noticeably missing from this scene which begs many questions: where is Grace? Whose wedding are they attending? Where is Vince, Will’s boyfriend? And last but not least, why does Karen have a monkey?

The trailer for the reboot was released last month and saw the awesome foursome Erik McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally stepping back into the iconic roles they started in over 20 years ago.

In the five minute trailer, the ever-neurotic Grace is afraid to return to the series, while Will is overly enthusiastic.

Meanwhile, Karen and Jack are unaware they were even starring in a TV show.

It seems they also haven’t left the studio apartment since 2006 when the series ended.

We can’t wait to see what else creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan have in store for these four friends!
