September is shaping up to be an exciting month for new and old releases hitting streaming services.

From the reboot of Will & Grace to the return of Outlander, here’s what should be at the top of your streaming list this month.

Outlander S4, Foxtel On Demand – September 11: Season three will pick right up where we left off at the end of season tow. Claire (Catriona Balfe) is back in 1948 and trying to reconnect to her first husband Frank Randall (Tobias Menzies), while pregnant with Jamie Fraser’s (Sam Heughan) child. Needless to say, things are complicated!

Narcos S3, Netflix – September 1:

Netflix original series Narcos returns for a third season and many fans were left asking where to now at the end of season two. The show’s bad guy Pablo Escobar (Wagner Moura) was dead on a rooftop but the series had just been signed on for another two seasons. But now, there are new antagonists in town known as the Cali Cartel and the drama is just as compelling.

Will & Grace, Stan – September 29:

That’s right, honey. The Will & Grace reboot hits our screens this month! The awesome foursome of Will (Eric McCormack), Grace (Debra Messing), Jack (Sean Hayes) and Karen (Megan Mullally) are back together 11 years after the original series ended. But, what are they up to now and how are the writers going to get around that ending? We can’t wait to find out!

Victoria S2, Foxtel On Demand – September 5:

The royal series starring Jenna Coleman returns early this month and it picks up a month after Queen Victoria gave birth for the first time. But now, the Queen is left juggling her roles as a mother, wife and ruler. How can she manage all three?

Star Trek: Discovery S1, Netflix – September 25:

Set ten years before the events of the original Star Trek series, this prequel follows the USS Discovery as they navigate new worlds and discover new alien lifeforms. Unfortunately this means there is no Captain Kirk or Spock, but there is Harry Potter’s Jason Isaacs as Captain of the Discovery.

Love, Actually, Stan – September 30:

The classic British film Love Actually hits Stan this month and this means that it’s time to re-watch the hilarious 2003 film. Not only does it feature an all-star cast, but you can forget Hugh Grant’s terribly wonderful dance moves!

The Magic School Bus Rides Again S1, Netflix – September 29:

Remember the kids show from the 90’s about the teacher called Ms Frizzle who took her classes on excursions in a magical bus? Well it’s back! Netflix has revived the series for the present day and actress Kate McKinnon will be the voice behind the kooky teacher. You can jump aboard the bus on September 29.

Parks And Recreation S1-7, Stan – September 14:

This Emmy winning comedy series follows Leslie Knope, played by Amy Poehler, a mid-level bureaucrat on the Parks and Recreation committee. Leslie is full of ideas to beautify her town, but is constantly bogged down by the bureaucracy that plagues her council. All seven seasons are coming to Stan, so it’s a perfect excuse to binge watch the quirky series.

Designated Survivor S2, Netflix – September 28:

This timely political series starring Kiefer Sutherland is back for a second series. The life of low-level politician Tom Kirkman (Kiefer Sutherland) life was radically changed when an explosion during the State of Union address killed everyone in the ranks above him, including the President. Tom was dubbed the “designated survivor” and was immediately sworn in as President of the United States. In the second series the under qualified new President must come to terms with his new role as well as deal with the fallout of the explosion which decimated the previous government.

Transparent S4, Stan – September 23:

The Pfefferman family is back for a fourth season of the Emmy winning series Transparent. This time we see the family travel to Israel on a spiritual journey as they dig deeper in the history of their family. But along the way, they find that they are also on paths to love, acceptance and truth.
