He’s currently battling it out to win the heart of The Bachelorette Sophie Monk, but it has been revealed that Apollo Jackson also appeared as the body double of The Hulk in the upcoming Marvel movie Thor: Ragnarok.

The magician revealed that he was approached to appear in the latest Thor film as the “big green guy”.

“I am a massive nerd so I was super excited and so stoked to do a Marvel movie,” he said.

Apollo also confirmed what we already knew: that Chris Hemsworth is a lovely human.

“I got the opportunity to do a scene with Chris Hemsworth and he was just a fun, down-to-earth guy, who is so normal and humble. He’s definitely a role model I look up to in the industry.”

The Bachie contestant also revealed that he played a gladiator extra in several scenes for the film.

“I have loved acting since I was a little kid,” Apollo said.

Despite his good looks (and chiselled abs), Apollo recently revealed to TV WEEK that he is a shy guy who hasn’t had much luck with the ladies in the past.

“I have been single for just over a year,” the hunky magician said.

“I don’t go out much and I’m not the type to approach girls either.”

In fact, Apollo says he gets “super nervous” around the opposite sex.

“I don’t get nervous on stage though. It’s just a girl thing, it’s crazy,” he reveals.

“I can hop on stage in a ridiculous outfit in front of 3,000 people and I just feel right at home. But if there’s a girl I find attractive, talking to her or asking her out, I just freeze up.”

Apollo and Sophie clicked from the very first night.

Apollo’s confession certainly comes as a surprise. After all, the handsome 24-year-old did impress The Bachelorette Sophie Monk during their first encounter.

“I don’t think love has an age,” Apollo says of the duos 13-year age gap.

“I think it’s all about the connection. You can both click on the things you connect with and I just don’t think age really matters when it comes to love.”
