He’s recently opened up to The Bachelorette Sophie Monk about wanting to have more children. But now, TV WEEK can exclusively reveal hotel heir and intruder Stu Laundy has in fact undergone a vasectomy.

“I love kids more than life itself,” the father-of-four declares.

“I was married and had four beautiful kids and then I had a vasectomy. You can get them reversed obviously and I would easily go there if the situation arose.”

Stu’s shock confession will no doubt come as a huge blow for Sophie who wants to start her own family as soon as possible.

“I want to get married and have children,” Sophie previously revealed, adding it’s the two things missing from her life.

“I want to settle down.”

Stu has been tipped to win since he entered the Bachelorette mansion

But it seems should Sophie choose Stu at the end, she might not get either with Stu admitting that’s not the only thing he has been hiding from Sophie.

“Further to that, I am four years separated but still legally married,” the 44-year-old confirms.

“That’s dragged out for a long time but it’s very close to finishing.”

Opening up about his marriage to wife Rachel, Stu says it’s the only real time he has been in love.

“I have loved one person and for a long time,” he says.

“We sort of had a childhood thing as well and she’s awesome. I was with one girl for 15 years and I was besotted by her and had four kids. I think I made my ex drift away with other reasons.”

Of being labelled a ‘player’ Stu says it couldn’t be further from the truth.

“I’m not,” he says matter-of-factly to Sophie this week.

“I don’t know how to convince you that I’m not. I’m not that guy. I was with someone for 15 years so I think that rules me out of being that guy. I was happy (married) and I want that again. I like marriage and I would much prefer to be with someone. Having someone is nice.”

With the all-important hometown dates looming, Stu admits should he make it that far, Sophie won’t be meeting his four children.

“I want Sophie to meet my family,” Stu says.

“But I don’t want them (his kids) to be a part of this.”
