First single date of the night goes to Florence… And she is “sh—ing herself!”

Matty has organised a swingin’ date for the Melbournian.

Of course, things ended swimmingly with Florence snagging a kiss and more importantly, a rose.

Next we see Elizabeth and Jen on the double date of doom… If history has taught us anything only one will return.

And Elizabeth proved to not be the one for Matty.

“I’m not sure we have that spark,” Matty admitted.

While the rose ceremony ended with an abrupt “To be continued…” We caught up with the blonde beauty to chat about her time in the mansion, getting cream-pied in the face and if she will ever live down that putrid dress…

Without further adieu, here’s Now To Love’s exclusive interview with Elizabeth Duncan!

Relive her now infamous run-in with Jen in the video player below… Interview below!

Elizabeth, 31, NSW, Property Executive

Tonight, we say good bye to Liz.

How does it feel now that you’re out?

It’s disappointing and I would have loved some more time in the house and more opportunities to spend time with Matty.

But you know what, I’ve got a great life, amazing friends and family and I’m really having a good time right now.

Did you see the elimination coming or were you surprised?

I wasn’t overly surprised that I was chosen for the double date. In saying that, I went in with a positive attitude and looked at it as an opportunity to spend time with Matty.

I wanted to be my best self and have fun with it.

Was Matty the guy for you?

I didn’t actually watch last season, so I knew of him but I didn’t know that much about him. He’s a fabulous guy and he has got some really great qualities, things that I would look for in a partner.

I just didn’t have enough time with him to form an opinion.

Liz thinks Matty is fabulous!

What was double date like?

I remember feeling really calm. I was nervous, but I tried my best to not get too caught up in it or the drama. I had the attitude of “it is what it is.

I saw the date as an opportunity to spend time with him and if you get to go back to the mansion, then amazing but if not then I’m returning home with some amazing memories.

Have you and Jen buried the hatchet after the putrid dress comment?

From my perspective definitely! I felt like it was a bit of a mountain out of a mole hill.

I have no animosity towards Jen. It was a silly misunderstanding that was made into something much bigger than it needed to be.

Never too far from drama…

Is it as catty as it seems?

There’s always moments with some many girls living in the one house – you have to expect disagreements. It got catty but there was never abuse-hurling. I was smart enough to choose who I decided to be friends with, and I didn’t give fuel to the fire.

If [being catty] is their jam, and that’s who they really are – then they’re not people I want to associate myself with.

Who were you closest to in the house?

Elise was my absolute best friend in the house. She was my roomie. I really loved Alix, Lisa, Laura and Cobie – we all had a room together, which definitely was the best room. We just shut the door and chat about what we’d be doing if we we’re at home [laughs].

We were all really supportive of each other and we’re still really good friends – it’s genuine friendships.

The vivacious Sydney-sider loved her time on The Bachelor.

Do you have any regrets?

Not at all. The first thing I told my family when I got home was that I have zero regrets. I was true to myself the entire time and I was honest. I had the best time I just wished I had a little longer.

What was your favourite Bachie moment?

That’s hard because there are so many! The girls and I were actually talking about this last week. We had to get a book so we could write down all the hilarious things.

Actually Elise does this really good re-enactment… I laugh every time I think about it.

After meeting Matty for the first time, she got a bit lost when she was walking away. She had no idea which way to go. She just re-enacts it and the first time she did it, it was the funniest thing.

We had just got back to the room from the first cocktail party at like 7am, and we were deliriously tired and she told me this story. I had tears running down my face from the laughter.

The mansion looks huge on TV, we can totally see someone getting lost!

[Laughs] She just said this voice boomed from the bushes “Through the door babe!” And she was like “What door? Which door?”

Liz is still great mates with the girls.

Would you recommend people go on The Bachelor

Totally! I am so grateful. I had zero expectations and it was just amazing. Just go and have fun!

Who do you think will win?

It is so hard because I look at all the girls in my bedroom [Elise, Alix, Lisa, Laura and Cobie] and I think it has to be one of them.

Are you dating or looking for love?

I’m not dating but I’m open to meeting someone. I’ve been having such a great time hanging out with my girls doing my thing. I haven’t met anyone in particular but I’m open to anything!

What’s next?

I don’t know, I’ve put out the intention that amazing things will happen and I’m going to have a great time.
