Richard Roxburgh and Silvia Colloca welcome a baby girl

Congratulations to the couple who are now parents to three adorable children!

Richard Roxburgh was nominated for the TV WEEK Logie for Best Actor and Most Outstanding Actor this year for his role as Clever Greene on Rake. Unfortunately, Richard was unable to attend the awards – though we think he’s got a pretty good excuse as to why…

Richard, and his wife actress, author and chef Silvia Colloca welcomed a baby girl into their family on Friday the 21st of April, just two days before the TV WEEK Logie Awards!

Silvia took to Instagram to share the exciting news.

The couple are already parents to two sons Raffi and Miro.

By the looks of things, Silvia is happy to have another lady in the house to even out the colour scheme.

Silvia announced that she was pregnant at the AACTA Awards last year and has since shared a number of photos of her growing baby bump over the past months.

The family live on Sydney’s northern beaches.

“We are pretty private. We love our life. It’s a part of what’s so special about living on the northern beaches. You can have that life,” Richard told The Daily Telegraph.

The couple met and fell in love while filming Van Helsing (2004).

Aside from his role on Rake, Richard was busy last year filming for the Australian drama Breathe, based on the novel by Tim Winton.

Last year, Silvia also hosted her own show, Silvia’s Italian Table on the ABC with special guests including Lisa McCune, Matt Moran and Magda Szubanski to name a few.
