Your favourite liars are set to return! Pretty Little Liars spin-off, The Perfectionists, has officially given the green light by U.S. network Freeform.

The Perfectionists will get a 10-episode debut on the network and a pilot episode has already been filmed, with PLL showrunner Marlene King back in charge.

Some familiar faces are coming to The Perfectionists with Sasha Pieterse and Janel Parrish reprising their PLL roles as Alison DiLaurentis and Mona Vanderwaal, respectively.

Sasha and Janel appear in the new trailer for The Perfectionists.

The rest of the cast includes Sydney Park (The Walking Dead), Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl), newcomer Eli Brown, and Sofia Carson (Disney’s Descendants).

The TV series will introduce viewers to Beacon Heights, a seemingly perfect town that appears quite different to eerie Rosewood.

True to PLL style, a set of mysteries and one horrible murder will throw the town in to a spin, as each ‘Perfectionist’ hides behind a secret, a lie, and an alibi.

The Perfectionists will be based on the book series of the same name, which was also written by PLL author Sara Shepard. It’s the second spin-off in the PLL series, following in the footsteps of the 2013 drama.

Fans have already been treated to a ‘first look’ at the new season by the network, with a thrilling trailer revealing how the PLL and Perfectionists worlds will collide.

Per the trailer, it appears Alison is moving to Beacon Heights for a teaching role, while Mona is in the murderous town to deliver her some pie… we think a longer trailer is necessary to determine exactly what she’s up to!

Check out the short teaser below:

The Perfectionists is expected to air in 2019 on Freeform. No word yet on how Australian fans will be able to watch the series, so stay tuned for details!
