This season of Neighbours is nearing its end for the year, with the Aussie soap taking a break from December 8 for four weeks.

We know, we’re devastated, too.

But the much-anticipated season finale is going to be huge, teases star Matt Wilson – and his character will be in the mix of it all.

Aaron is in Paris

Neighbours will once again go out with a bang this year, with the Brennan brother being heavily involved,” Matt, who plays Aaron Brennan, told Female First.

“We are currently in the middle of filming more heavy episodes which will be going to air next year.

“For me [personally], I’ll be keeping my head down working, then [I’m] off to Tasmania to hike Cradle Mountain,” he adds.

Aaron is currently in Paris in a bid to protect his brother Tyler (Travis Burns) by investigating Hamish (Sean Taylor), Tyler’s biological dad.

Will he uncover the truth about Hamish?

Aaron has been suss on Hamish for a while – he thinks he’s hiding secrets. So when he snoops into his suitcase and finds a photo of a woman in Paris with the words ‘Don’t forget me – I know your secrets’, Aaron is on a mission to uncover all the dirt.

But Paris is the city of love after all, so of course, an old fling turns up…

Next week, however, Erinsborough will be shocked after a fabulous masquerade gala ends in tragedy. A man’s body is found floating in the spa.

But who is the victim and who committed the crime? The town just got a lot more dangerous.

The Gala night is going to bring drama!
