Neighbours recap: Tyler took matters into his own hands

It was a jam-packed week in Erinsborough! Tyler knew T-Bone was trouble when he walked in...

Tyler takes it too far

No one has yet been charged for ploughing a Ute through the reception area of the backpackers’ hostel.

The attack left Piper (Mavournee Hazel) with a broken leg and David (Takaya Honda) in a critical condition.

This week Tyler (Travis Burns) decided it was time to take matters into his own hands, alongside newcomer Mishti (Scarlet Vas).

Piper felt that the investigation should be handled by the police but Tyler was convinced T-Bone (Des Flanagan) was the perpetrator. After some nasty comments from T-Bone’s, Tyler couldn’t help himself and things got physical.

Mishti breaks up the fight between T-Bone and Tyler.

But brining Mishti along turned out to be a mistake. After all, she is an ex-cop.

Mishti reported Tyler to the police, which meant he was charged with assault.

Looks like Tyler should have listened to Piper after all!

Yashvi’s troubled past is revealed

After Yashvi (Olivia Junkeer) became a suspect in the crash this week, details of her past unravelled.

Her father mentioned a history of silly pranks to Toadie (Ryan Moloney). Some had even gotten her into trouble with authorities.

She has since promised to stay out of trouble. That is, until Toadie discovered a stash of fireworks buried in the backyard.

He laid down the law and explained that if he suspects something – as a lawyer – he has to report it. He believed that she was going to ditch the leftover fireworks so let her off with a warning.

But who knows if the prankster will listen…

Erinsborough’s newest prankster has previously been in trouble with the authorities!

Finn sets his wicked scheme into motion

Finn (Rob Mills) laid his cruel plans into action this week, with Elly (Jodi Anasta) and Susan (Jackie Woodburne) his prime targets.

First, he set about manipulating a fellow teacher, Wayne Baxter (Jon Bryden).

Finn told him that at Elly’s old school, she warned her students of exam content and then marked them generously. He then played the ex-boyfriend card to explain why he couldn’t report her.

Later, Finn manipulated Xanthe (Lilly Van Der Meer) into letting him into Elly’s room to “get his watch” which he left there previously. While Xanthe stays on lookout, he alters Elly’s grades on exams.

His plan went off without a hitch. Wayne made a formal complaint about Elly for using dishonest and unethical methods to boost marks. And as Finn’s meddled with her paperwork, there is now physical proof.

Yikes, what will Finn do next?!
