Chloe has kept secret her true feelings for Elly for a long time. But confiding in Aaron could prove a costly mistake when he tries to intervene in Neighbours this week.
Reeling from Chloe’s (April Rose Pengilly) shock admission, Aaron (Matt Wilson) struggles to figure out how to help his sister. But his turmoil worsens when he spots Chloe and Elly (Jodi Anasta) together – their connection is glaringly obvious.
Chloe has the look of love.
However, when Aaron discovers Fay (Zoe Bertram) is in contact with Chloe’s ex, Mel, he has a lightbulb moment. He decides to reach out and invite Mel to town.
Unfortunately, he soon learns that things between Mel and Chloe didn’t end well. In fact, Chloe doesn’t want to see her ex at all!
With his plan failing miserably, a desperate Aaron finds himself using any excuse to supervise Chloe and Elly’s time together.
Aaron is worried about his sister Chloe.
But Aaron isn’t the only one who sees what’s happening between Chloe and Elly. As the friends set up for an Australia Day picnic, a mystery woman approaches Elly to ask if she and Chloe are a couple. Elly is quick to downplay the friendship.
When the same woman appears at the Brennans’ door the next morning, Chloe is unimpressed – it’s Mel.
This looks like trouble for Chloe…
Chloe and Elly’s picnic sure looks like a first date.
Chlole and Elly shared their first kiss in an episode that aired back in November, when the pair enjoyed a night of pampering during a girl’s night in.
As they sat on the couch, Chloe followed her impulse, leaned in and planted a kiss on Elly!
“Their relationship has slowly become more intimate and supportive,” April says of the first kiss.
“While the kiss is a spur-of-the-moment thing for Chloe, it immediately changes things for her.”
Chloe and Elly’s first kiss was spur of the moment.
Though the journey has been complicated, it seems Chloe and Elly could be in store for a wonderful romance… if Mel doesn’t get in the way.
