Masterchef's Ben Ungermann has been charged for drink driving

The news comes just days after the nation saw Ben triumph into the Semi Finals.

The Daily Telegraph reported that Ben Ungermann had been charged and convicted for low-range drink driving in Brisbane.
The publication claim the 32-year-old was sentenced with a two-month driving ban and $400 fine.
No conviction was recorded.
In a bizarre twist, Ben, a father-of-three, was actually pulled over on May 26, by fellow MasterChef season 9 star, Nicole's sister - Constable Leah Stevenson
Ben has been slaying the kitchen.
Nicole was a part of this year's top 24.
While the Top 4 contestant is yet to comment on the situation, a spokesman from the makers MasterChef released a statement.
“Ben feels deeply remorseful about making this one-off judgment error and respects the actions of the police and the verdict of the court."
