Home And Away hunk Lincoln Younes looks to be returning to our screens after landing a role in a new pilot drama, Grand Hotel, and we couldn’t be more excited.

ABC ordered the pilot for the 2018-2019 season with Brian Tanen writing and producing as well as Eva Longoria and Ben Spector as executive producers under their UnbeliEVAble banner.

Based on a Spanish series originally set at the turn of the 20th century, Grand Hotel will be a soapy drama set around a Miami Beach Hotel. Under its perfect exterior lies a family and staff swimming in explosive secrets.

Considering the original series Gran Hotel has been dubbed a Spanish Downton Abbey we can only expect great things.

Lincoln is set to play Danny, the charming and gorgeous new addition to the hotel staff. It’s no surprise he catches the eye of the hotel owner’s daughter, which we’re sure can only spell d-r-a-m-a.

Oscar nominee, Demian Bichir, has also been cast in the series pilot to play Gonzalo Cardenas, charismatic owner of the hotel.

It is set to be his first network television role and according to The Hollywood Reporter, Eva couldn’t have picked a better man for the lead role.

“There was no one else I could envision in the role of Gonzalo,” she said.

“I’ve done two movies with Demian and he acts with a quiet force that conveys the strength this character needs.

“I am so excited to be assembling this all-star cast that reflects the world in which we live.”

While much of the project is still under wraps, Lincoln has given fans a sneak-peek at what’s to come with a few behind-the-scenes snaps on shared on Instagram.
