Bruce Jenner’s ex-wife and Kardashian-matriarch, Kris Jenner, has had the hardest time of anyone in the family adjusting to the news that Bruce is reportedly undergoing a gender transition.

“Kris had the most difficult time of anyone in the family,” a reported Jenner insider told People magazine.

“She has had a lot to process. She has cried a lot about this, because it’s an emotional thing for her.”

Kris, 59, has remained silent regarding all reports about Bruce, but has apparently been “looking back at their entire marriage,” the insider said. “A lot of things are suddenly making sense.”

“She’s come back around,” the insider said. “She has gotten used to the idea. She was most upset because it was the great unknown, but she has really been reading up on things now, so she’ll know what to expect.”

Despite the initial shock at Bruce’s news, the family insider says “no one in the family feels betrayed or deceived by Bruce.”

“It’s not like he woke up one day and was like, ‘Surprise!’ He moved through his own feelings and his own changes at his own pace.”

Former Olympian Bruce, 65,  was spotted sporting a colourful manicure in October last year just before his birthday and reportedly underwent surgery one year ago to have his Adam’s apple “shaved” in order to look more feminine.

Bruce’s evolving appearance over the past few years has been much-remarked on.

His hairstyles have also undergone a more feminine transformation throughout the years and he’s been rumoured to have undergone all kinds of cosmetic procedures from laser-hair removal on his face, to ensure no masculine facial hair, to lifts, peels and fillers.

Earlier this week Bruce Jenner’s mum Esther Jenner confirmed that her son is undergoing a change and that she couldn’t be prouder of him.

“I just learned about [his transition]. Bruce filled me in, and we had a very long, long, long talk about it,” she told Radar Online.

“I have never been more proud of Bruce for who he is…I support him whole-heartedly. I just love him like I always have.”

A Kardashian family source also confirmed to US Weekly saying that Bruce is undergoing the change.

“Bruce is transitioning into a woman. He is finally happy and his family is accepting of what he’s doing,” the source said.

Bruce is yet to speak publicly about his reported transition but is said to be doing a tell-all interview with US TV journalist Diane Sawyer about his transition, which is rumoured to be airing in the States as early as this weekend.

The Kardashian and Jenner girls all shared this photo on their social media accounts when news of their dad’s gender transition began to circulate.

It has also been announced that all the Kardashians have cancelled all press interviews for the upcoming season of Keeping up with the Kardashians in an effort to maintain silence in regard to Bruce, so that he can tell his own story his way.

It’s thought that the new season – which premieres this Sunday in the States, could address the rumours once and for all.
