Ever since Jasmine’s (Sam Frost) arrival in Summer Bay, Home And Away fans have wondered who would capture her heart.
Thankfully, we didn’t have to wait long to find out.
Policeman Colby (Tim Franklin) has steamed up the screen with the local nurse in recent episodes of the show. But he seems to keep the blonde beauty at arm’s length. Are they together or not? Either way, the photogenic couple has our full attention.
Jasmine and Colby’s casual relationship hits the skids next week, with the policeman preoccupied with his missing sister, Bella.
Policeman Colby (Tim Franklin) has been keeping Jasmine (Sam Frost) at arms length.
“Colby can’t commit to a relationship with anyone until he’s found his sister, Bella,” Sam, 29, tells TV WEEK. “If he ever got a lead on her, he’d have to leave straight away. He just can’t be tied down right now.”
In the upcoming episode, Colby lights a candle on a cupcake for his sister while he believes he is alone. Jasmine interrupts the moment, and he explains that it’s Bella’s birthday today.
An emotional Colby admits to feeling like a failure and that he blames himself for what has happened to his family – and for Dean going to jail.
“Colby and Dean have so much history – they were practically brothers,” Tim, 27, says. “They need to get everything out and clear the air.”
A broken Colby tells Jasmine he wouldn’t even recognise Bella anymore. Jasmine is neither sure of how to help him, nor whether they should even be together.
