No matter who you are, what you do or where you live, social-distancing and self-isolation have become our new reality.

Many have had to resort to working from home, which can be trying at times, we know, but you’re not alone.

And the cast of Home And Away are no exception, with the show’s actors taking to Instagram to share how they too are working through the COVID-19 pandemic.

Emily Symons, who plays Marilyn on the show, shared a screen grab of her seven-way video call with the show’s crew, as well as cast members Lukas Radovich, Georgie Parker and Cameron Daddo.

“Our first ever virtual rehearsal! So happy to see my friends this morning,” Emily wrote.

We can’t help but admire some of the special Summer Bay backgrounds they chose for the occasion, too.

With so many of our favourite shows shutting down production amid the coronavirus pandemic, it’s a hopeful sign Home And Away won’t be disappearing from our screens anytime soon.

Penny McNamee also shared a few shots from her “virtual rehearsal” with Sam Frost, Lynne McGranger, Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart.

We’re most grateful for Sam, who has dialled in still in her pyjamas, making us feel slightly less guilty about doing the same for the past week.

We didn’t think we could love Sam more until now.

“First time for everything – rehearsals online with these legends today,” Penny wrote before also mentioning Sam’s top choice in attire.

“Special shout out to @fro01 who took advantage and stayed in her jim-jams!

“I’m so grateful to still have a job when so many of my dear friends in the arts have lost their’s. Praying for our industry that it will recover and come back with a BANG!”

Finger’s crossed Home And Away can continue on in these trying times so we can continue watching, we mean working, at home … in our pyjamas.
