BELLA & CHELSEA INVOLVED IN A DEADLY SHOOTOUT

When bride Chelsea (Ashleigh Brewer, above) jumped into a limo with Bella (Courtney Miller, above right) and Willow (Sarah Roberts), they had no idea of the terror that would unfold. Bella’s father Ross (Justin Rosniak, above) took the girls hostage to try to lure Colby (Tim Franklin) into a trap. In dramatic scenes, Colby leapt forward as Ross fired the gun – but it was too late. Willow was shot and Ross fled.

WILLOW FIGHTS FOR HER LIFE

In the aftermath of the hostage crisis, Willow’s life was hanging in the balance and Ross was on the run. But Colby wasn’t far behind him. After a car chase through the bush, Colby and his best mate Dean (Patrick O’Connor) caught up to exact revenge. Colby then shot Ross in cold blood.

DEAN COLLAPSES

After aiding in the murder of Ross, Dean struggled to move on. In order to sleep, he turned to pills. When his addiction became known to Colby and Willow, their plans for a rapid detox backfired and put him in grave danger. Jasmine (Sam Frost) arrived just in time to save his life.

JUSTIN ATTACKS BRODY

The steamy affair between chef Brody (Jackson Heywood) and Simone (Emily Eskell) was bound to cause heartache. So, when his brothers Justin and Mason (Orpheus Pledger, above right) learnt the full extent of his betrayal, the trio ended up in a brawl on the beach!

JUSTIN AND LEAH FALL IN LOVE

With his brother’s affair causing tension in the family, Justin (James Stewart) turned to Leah (Ada Nicodemou) for advice. Their friendship soon grew and they shared a steamy kiss. They tried to keep their fling under wraps, but in a small town like Summer Bay, people talk!

ALF LEAVES THE BAY

Fans were gobsmacked when Summer Bay veteran Alf (Ray Meagher, above) seemingly left town for good. His abrupt departure came about after his long-lost wife Martha (Belinda Gibbons) decided to call it quits between them. Alone and heartbroken, Alf took an impromptu “fishing trip” to win her back.

MASON’S DRUG BUST

When his younger sister Raffy was diagnosed with epilepsy, Mason started his own medicinal cannabis trial to help her cope with the disease. But in the process of buying a bulk supply of the drug, well-meaning Mason was busted by the police!

ZIGGY LETS LOOSE!

After discovering her husband Brody had been having an affair with Simone, Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) was left heartbroken and alone. The trauma led Ziggy on a downward spiral of despair.

The young mechanic turned to drinking and partying to deal with her pain. Ziggy made sure to send photos of her wild night to her ex, Brody, along with hate-filled messages. Yikes!

THINGS GET HOT BETWEEN ZIGGY & DEAN…

The young couple tried to deny their feelings for fear of ruining their friendship, but eventually gave in.

JASMINE COLLAPSES

Months of silence from Robbo (Jake Ryan) didn’t lead to a happy reunion with fiancée Jasmine (Sam Frost). Instead of dealing with her anger and anxiety at being abandoned, nurse Jasmine channelled her emotions into running, but pushed herself to breaking point.

JETT RETURNS

After being caught in an explosion on his base in Afghanistan, Jett (Will McDonald) was paralysed from the waist down. The heartbreaking homecoming was a struggle for the young soldier. Eventually, however, he regained his independence and moved to the city.

ROBBO & JASMINE TIE THE KNOT

It was a long and complicated trip to the aisle for Jasmine and Robbo, but we had the rice and confetti ready when they finally made it! Robbo had to deal with the ghosts of his past, Jasmine confronted her abandonment issues, and together they overcame Tori’s surprise pregnancy. Friends and family were overjoyed for the couple as the beautiful bride sealed the deal with a kiss.

RUNAWAY BRIDE

Newlyweds Robbo and Jasmine’s special day took a dramatic turn when, within minutes of the ceremony concluding, they were rushed into witness protection. Robbo’s past had come back to haunt him, making him and his loved ones the targets of a dangerous gang.

BELLA ATTACKED

Teenager Bella had no idea who she was dealing with when she befriended Tommy (Adam Sollis) online. Having groomed Bella, Tommy arrived at her house and quickly turned on her in a shocking sexual assault.

JASMINE HELD HOSTAGE

Unable to give the Ouroboros gang what they wanted – the infamous and elusive Dylan Carter – the thugs, including Des (Matt Zaremes), took Jasmine hostage. She managed to leave her desperate husband Robbo a clue that helped him track her down in time.

ROBBO AND DYLAN COME TO BLOWS

After a search for the man he once thought dead, Dylan Carter (Jeremy Lindsay Taylor, above left) instead found Robbo. Kidnapped and bound, Robbo managed to turn the tables on him.

TORI’S BABY DRAMA

First-time mum Tori (Penny McNamee) went into labour while in witness protection. Robbo, meanwhile, was caught in a tense standoff with Ouroboros gang leader Victor (Patrick Thompson).

With Jasmine by her side, and dad-to-be Robbo making it just in time, doctor Tori gave birth to beautiful baby Grace.

Her joy was short-lived, however, as she collapsed not long after giving birth. Tori had a stroke, fell into a coma and was left fighting for her life.

ALEX’S HOT NEW FLING

When new doctor Alex (Zoë Ventoura, above right) arrived in town, she quickly fell for friendly fitness instructor Willow (Sarah Roberts).

Willow was hesitant, having never dated a woman before, but quickly realised she had strong feelings for Alex and the couple started dating.

SHOTS FIRED IN HOSPITAL SIEGE

Just when we thought the Ouroboros gang was finished terrorising Summer Bay, the crims returned with a bang, taking our favourites hostage at the hospital. Mason’s bravery led to him being shot and killed. Sob!
