Former Bachelorette star and journalist Georgia Love has announced her exciting new role within the media landscape.
The 31-year-old unexpectedly left Channel 10 last month, but has quickly found her feet again with another iconoic news organisation - Channel Seven's 7News.
Georgia announced the news in the rather apt way - standing before a camera with a 7News mic.
She simply wrote: "In some personal news … @7NewsMelbourne."
The Bachelorette star added the hashtag, "NewBeginnings.
Georgia's pals flocked to the image to share their excitement for the new role.
"Congrats x," wrote fellow Bachelor star Anna Heinrich.
Celeb stylist Lana Wilkinson also added, "Go my girl' proud of you! Congratulations."
Melbourne socialite Bec Judd wrote one word to sum it up: "Awesome".
Georgia started at Channel 10 in 2017, calling it her dream job as she became a roving reporter for its daily news broadcast.
In statement this week, Network 10 commented on Georgia's swift departure: "As with any casual position, the availability of work ebbs and flows with the requirements of the company."
Georgia's new job isn't the only big thing happening for her this year - she's set to marry her fiancee Lee Elliot.
The pair, who met on The Bachelorette, got engaged in 2019.
They were planning to marry in 2020, however the COVID-19 pandemic threw plans into disarray.
No matter though - it looks like the pair have found plenty of other ways to plough forward with their happily ever after, including buying a house.
Bring on 2021, we say!
