Did the promos for this new TV dance competition have you tapping your toes? If so, you’ll be letting loose in your lounge room when it dances onto our screens soon.

Dance Boss pits 12 groups of everyday Aussies who work together or share the same profession against each other in killer dance battles.

From airline staff and ambos to medicos and McDonald’s employees, these amateurs are made for the stage. But who will come out on top and take home $100,000?

Hosted by Dannii Minogue, the show brings together Sharni Vinson, Adam Garcia and Timomatic as judges. They’ll score the teams out of 30 on their “PPE” factor: passion, performance and entertainment. DJ Sketch will get the groups grooving to everything from Latin to hip-hop.

Dannii Minogue is set to host Dance Boss.
