She’s copped it left, right and centre from her fellow Married at First Sight contestants after shacking up with Andrew (aka Jonesy) following her split from Jonathan, but Cheryl tells NW twins Sharon and Michelle really gave it to her… and unnecessarily so.
WA twins Shaz and Michelle don’t buy Cheryl’s romance with Jonesy.
“My motives were the same as everyone else’s,” the Gold Coast model reveals in this week’s issue of NW, about her rebound romance with Jonesy. “I feel like nothing exciting was happening [on the show] and [the twins] needed some drama so they decided to pick on me.”
Indeed, Shaz and Michelle did not hold back on Cheryl questioning her motives on why she was re-entering the experiment with someone she wasn’t matched with.
The couple has had their ups and downs.
“They made a few comments because they didn’t want him to get hurt, but it was all taken too far,” Cheryl adds. “I felt like everything they were saying about my reasons for being here were wrong. Aren’t we all here for a relationship? I don’t need to prove to [them] why I’m here.”
