Proving she’s not just a set of perfect eyebrows, model Cara Delevingne has landed another huge acting role.

Streaming service Amazon has announced that the 25-year-old will star in upcoming fantasy-drama Carnival Row, an eight-episode series set in a futuristic city called the Burgue, where mythical creatures take refuge from the war ravaging their homeland.

Cara will play a faerish refugee named Vignette Stonemoss, who contends with human prejudice when she arrives in the city.

Vignette must also protect the secrets that have followed her from her homeland.

Orlando Bloom is set to play a detective named Rycroft Philostrate, who is tasked with investigating a string of unsolved murders in the Burgue, including the killing of a faerie showgirl.

Her first major TV role is the latest win for British model Cara, who was part of the star-studded Suicide Squad cast alongside Will Smith and Aussie Margot Robbie.

She also worked with Rihanna in the film Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets and had a lead role in the YA book adaptation Paper Towns.

It’s also the first major TV role for Orlando, 40, whose career has been limited to the big screen so far.

Carnival Row will start production later this year on location in Prague, and is set for a 2019 release on Amazon’s streaming service Amazon Prime Video.
