Brenda, Kelly, Brandon; the gang's all here! Beverly Hills, 90210 is returning to our screens this month, with the original cast reuniting for a 'reboot' about making a reboot.
Shannen Doherty, Jason Priestley, Jennie Garth, Ian Ziering, Gabrielle Carteris, Brian Austin Green and Tori Spelling have returned… but not to star as the characters fans know and love. Instead, the BH90210 reboot will see the stars playing fictionalised versions of themselves.
Yeah, the premise is a bit left of field. So, how is this whole 'fake reboot' reboot going to play out on-screen?
19 years after the original series ended, BH90210 will see the cast reunite at a 30th Anniversary fan convention in Las Vegas. After the tumultuous reunion, Tori has the idea to get the gang back together for an official reboot… but not everyone is on board.
Old flames, feuds and feelings will be reignited as the stars come together on-screen in a reality-style drama, where they try to get a reboot up and running. Will Shannen hold on to grudges? Will we revisit the Peach Pit?
The series, which is already airing in the US, has been described as a "wild ride" by cast-member Tori.
"This season flew by," she writes on Instagram. "I hope you've enjoyed watching #bh90210 as much as we enjoyed all being back together and making this show. It's been a wild ride so far and we can't wait to show you more..."
Meanwhile, original "baddie" Shannen called her cast-members "so collaborative, brave and just plain awesome."
It seems the feuding and the drama is well and truly reserved for their fictionalised characters. We can't wait to see it!
The new BH90210 is set to premiere on 10, on Tuesday, 24th of September at 8:30pm.
