After a 13-year hiatus from acting, former Home And Away star Bec Hewitt has announced her return to TV.

The mother-of-three famously said in 2016 that she wouldn’t return to acting as she wanted to concentrate on being a stay at home mother to her children Mia, 11, Cruz, nine and Ava, seven.

But over the weekend the 35-year-old confirmed her appearance on Channel Nine travel show *Hello Worldv as their new host and reporter.

In her new role, the wife of Lleyton Hewitt will be whisked away from her home for “the first night ever”.

That said Bec admits that it’s the perfect job to fit in with her family life.

“I think it’s the right time and the right job just to fit in with my other job of being a mum,” Bec told The Daily Telegraph.

The move is a stark contrast to what she admitted previously when she said she was nervous about being in the public eye.

“I’m settled now, the kids are all in school but I’m really nervous. It’s been so many years since I’ve done talk shows and press,” she explained to the Sydney Morning Herald.

Throughout parenthood, Bec has always made it clear that she would support her husband’s tennis career and raise their three children, but now they are older it appears it’s the perfect time to kick start her career again.

Bec has been married to her husband Lleyton for 13 years now, after tying the knot at the Syndey Opera House.

On her birthday, her loving husband wished her greetings calling her the “most wonderful mother and mum in the world”.
