Thank you Bachie gods for answering our prayers.

After weeks of speculation, Network Ten have officially announced that Bachelor in Paradise will be coming to Australia!

Yep, The US Bachelor spin-off series will make its way down under in 2018 and will see our fave past Bachelor and Bachelorette contestants whisked away to a romantic tropical destination for a second chance at love.

“The Bachelor in Paradise is the perfect next chapter, a proven hit in the US and we know Bachelor Nation Australia will love it too,” said Warner Bros International Television Production Australia Managing Director, Michael Brooks on Monday.

Osher Gunsberg has been confirmed as the host.

And, in even better news, current Bachie host Osher Gunsberg – and his hair – will be back to oversee all the shenanigans. Well, we wouldn’t want anyone else doing the job!

Bachelor in Paradise is the perfect complement to, and extension of, those shows,” revealed Network Ten Chief Content Officer, Beverley McGarvey.

“It will give viewers everything they love about The Bachelor Australia and The Bachelorette Australia, including familiar faces, spectacular dates, explosive rose ceremonies, drama, romance, adventure, laughter and – of course – love.”

Which Bachie babes will be coming back?

As for which Bachie faves will be returning for round two, Network Ten remains tight lipped.

But it was previously reported that casting is already underway with Keira Maguire, Nikki Gogan, Sasha Mielczarek, Elora Murger, Michael Turnbull, Jake Ellis, Jen Hawke and Blake Garvey all being approached.

“It is shaping up to be a huge year for Bachelor fans in Australia,” Michael Brook explained.

We can’t wait!
