Celebrity cook Anna Gare is taking on a fresh role in Nine Network’s new series Anna Gare’s Cab Fare.
Each episode sees the cook spend time with a different 13cabs driver, each with their own unique and interesting story.
Hitching a ride in the cab, Anna spends time talking with the driver about their family, their culture and, of course, their favourite recipes.

The celebrated cook takes what she’s learned from these drivers, and creates delicious dishes inspired by their diverse backgrounds.
“Working with the 13cabs Drivers has been a fantastic experience –the idea for the show was born from inspiring conversations I have had with drivers from all sorts of unique and diverse walks of life,” Anna says.
“The show uncovers traditional dishes from the 13cabs Driver’s homeland, while importantly delving into their personal experiences in transitioning their lives to Australia from countries all over the world like Pakistan, Afghanistan, France, Cambodia, Somalia, Lebanon and the Middle East just to name a few.
“I hope through watching the show others are inspired to have conversations with their cab drivers, whether it’s about the driver’s story, or their favourite traditional dishes.”
