Much loved Australian actress, Judith McGrath, has died aged 70.

Judith was known for her roles in Australian favourites, All Saints, A Country Practice and Prisoner.

Her cause of death has not yet been revealed.

Judith is best known for her role as Yvonne ‘Von’ Ryan in long-time Aussie favourite, All Saints. She starred in all 12 seasons of the show and was widely regarded as an Australian legend in the entertainment industry.

Tributes from Australian media and fans begun flooding out on twitter this morning.

Judith, who was born in Brisbane in 1947 and study at Brisbane Arts Theatre.

While Australian audiences are most familiar with her work as Von Ryan, International audiences would best recognise the actress as Deputy Governor Colleen “Po Face” Powell in the series Prisoner.

She also graced our screens in Neighbours, Round The Twist and A Country Practice.
