Sex and the City 3 movie rumours gain momentum

Sarah Jessica Parker has done little to dispel the rumours that a third Sex and the City movie is in the works!

The star has popped up on the front steps of her on-screen alter-ego Carrie’s fictional home showing off a selection of shoes from her new footwear line, the “SJP Collection”.

SJP posted a snap of the stunt to her Instagram page showing off her designer label.

It’s just the latest in a series of major hints that the stars of the hit TV show are in talks with producers for a third official Sex and the City movie.

It began with an interview given by Jennifer Hudson – the Oscar winning actress and songstress who had a small part in the first official movie as Carrie’s personal assistant.

“I think it might be (happening),” she said in an interview with Dish Nation last week.

“Somebody just came to me talking about that.

“So if it’s in the talks, it might happen. So look for it.”

So by the time Sarah decided to share her footwear photos on Carrie’s front doorsteps, many fans had worked themselves into a frenzy and took it as a confirmation that the third film was on the way!

The hysteria wasn’t helped when Sarah then posted a second picture of the shoes captioned “That’s a wrap ladies.”

Clearly this must have drawn an excited response with fans presuming she was referencing the end of filming Sex and the City because Sarah Jessica quickly followed it up by saying:

“Oh no. Eek. Sorry. No. I was just talking about the shoes. Oh man. Geesh. Sorry. X Sj”

We can’t wait to hear if the rumours are true! In the meantime, enjoy some nostalgia from the last movie here.
