Two Home and Away fan-favourites are reuniting for a major Hollywood film, and we couldn’t be more excited.

Following on from the announcement that Luke Mitchell had scored a lead role in Tom Clancy’s Without Remorse, Deadline confirmed he’ll be joined in the project by Todd Lasance.

The Paramount adaptation of the novel features big name stars, including Michael B. Jordan (Black Panther) in the lead role of John Clark. Also starring are Jamie Bell (Billy Elliot, Rocketman) and Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim).

Without Remorse is the origin story of John Clark, a Navy SEAL-turned-CIA ops officer. Luke will play Rowdy, a member of Clark’s team.

Meanwhile, Todd will play a member of the Navy SEAL team alongside actors Jacob Scipio (Bad Boys for Life), Cam Gigandet (Twilight) and Jack Kesy (Deadpool 2).

Todd and Luke are still the best of friends, all these years later.

“It’s OFFICIAL!!!!” Todd wrote on Instagram to celebrate earlier this month. “So damn excited and proud to be part of this project! Living out my childhood dream.”

Now, Luke has shared a first look at the new flick on his Instagram page, posting a photo with Todd and Jacob.

In the sneak peek, the men are kitted out in their Navy SEAL gear, with vests, helmets and, of course, guns.

“Slow is smooth, smooth is fast,” Luke captioned the snap.

A Home and Away reunion on set!

The actors will surely be thrilled to be working alongside one another, having only briefly crossed paths on the Channel Seven soap. Luke’s Romeo Smith only arrived in the Bay in 2009, while Todd’s character Aden Jefferies left in 2010.

Luke and Todd are still close friends with fellow Home and Away alumnae, including Lincoln Younes, Samara Weaving and, of course, Luke’s wife Rebecca Breeds.

The gang have been making major waves in Hollywood, with Samara Weaving’s latest film Ready or Not scoring huge praise from critics. Meanwhile, Lincoln nabbed a role in Eva Longoria’s recent drama series Grand Hotel and Rebecca has starred in series including Pretty Little Liars and The Originals.
