In the wake of Captain Marvel‘s huge box office haul, Marvel Studios are keeping up the momentum – a new Avengers: Endgame trailer is here, which among other things shows Carol Danvers meeting Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
And in a moment to sum it all up, Thor declares: “I like this one.” – suffice to say, we do too, Thor.
Thor (Chris Hemsworth) holds court with Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) and Captain Marvel (Brie Larson) in the Avengers: Endgame trailer.
Early on, the trailer plays into our long-standing relationships with the MCU heroes, with clips going back to the very first Iron Man, Captain America and Thor adventures.
But there’s new stuff too – Hawkeye teaching someone (his daughter? Kate Bishop?) to shoot a bow and arrow, Scott Lang returning to his post-snap neighbourhood after escaping from the Quantum Realm, and then there’s Thor making gooey eyes at his lovely new axe Stormbreaker.
We’ve also got Rocket teaming up with War Machine, and fresh shots of the Avengers walking through their HQ – this time donning some nifty new suits, and somewhat spoiling that Tony Stark and Nebula make it back from Titan safely!
Elsewhere, we see Black Widow with longer, red hair, as well as her blonde bob – further evidence of a possible time-jump in the film?

Oh, and yes – that Captain Marvel moment too.
SPOILER WARNING FOR CAPTAIN MARVEL: If you stayed through to the mid-credits of Carol Danvers’ solo adventure, you’ll have seen a short clip of her returning to Earth, responding to the pager message that Nick Fury triggered at the end of Infinity War, this time wearing a slightly different suit. We can’t wait to see her team up with the rest of the gang!
