Home and Away

Penny McNamee just shared a Home And Away throwback that will make your heart ache

''What a wild ride so far!''

Characters may come and go from the idyllic coastal town of Summer Bay, but when it comes to the actors who play them, the bonds formed on set are forever.
Reminding us exactly how strong that friendship is, and hitting us right in the feels, Penny McNamee shared a sweet behind the scenes throwback of her Home And Away family.
Posting a photo of the Morgan clan (minus baby sister Raffy, played by Olivia Deeble, Penny captioned: "Look what I just found!!
"5 years ago... these four kids were cast as siblings, so we went out to dinner to get to know each other a little before filming. What a wild ride so far! Love these three boys. 💙💙💙xxx"

Sadly, it's just Penny and eldest brother, Justin, played by James Stewart left on the show.
Brody (Jackson Heywood) was the first of the TV family to leave Summer Bay after he cheated on wife Ziggy, played by Sophie Dillman, with Simone, played by Emily Eskell.
"It's a bit bitter-sweet, but I'm OK with it," Jackson previously told TV WEEK of his exit. "The good thing about acting is that jobs come to an end; it's always varying and you can look forward to another chapter."

Then there's sweet, heroic Mason.
The younger brother was tragically killed in last year's gripping finale which saw a group of thugs storm the hospital and hold everyone hostage.
True to form Mason sacrificed his life to save his friends in devastating scenes.

"There was so much momentum leading up to his death so it was just... it was a bit of a crescendo moment, it was just like the height of a really intense and amazing kind of song," Orpheus said of Mason's final moments.
"It was definitely beautiful and so amazing, just to have a comfortable environment and good, earnest, beautiful people around me. I mean what more do you think you want?"
