Still recovering from the Olympics, swimming legend Grant Hackett has plans to dive into parenthood with his pop star wife, Candice Alley.
It hasn’t happened yet — “I assure you, you could tell if she was pregnant,” Grant grins at his tiny partner — but the couple have been talking babies for some time.
“We certainly want a family,” confirms the affable giant. “The thought of it excites us — and just the fact that I’ve found someone I want to do it with!
“Before I met Candice, it wasn’t a big focus, but when you love someone it’s just a natural evolution of your relationship.
“Now we have Beijing out of the way, we want to spend a bit more time together and I guess having a baby is something we are definitely thinking about.”
