Congratulations are in order for Girls star Zosia Mamet and her new husband Evan Jonigkeit! The pair tied the knot in a private ceremony over the weekend in upstate New York.
Although the pictures have been kept on the down low, the couple did take to Instagram to share sweet matching snaps of two rubber ducks, dressed as bride and groom.
Zosia wrote: “@evanj550 my best friend, my soulmate, my HUSBAND, I love you. Here’s to forever and a day”.
Meanwhile, Evan captioned his image: “Last night I married my best friend. @zosiamamet.”
We’re yet to see the dress, but Zosia’s hair stylist uploaded a picture of her stunning wedding ‘do to Instagram, and we have a feeling the actress is about to inspire women the world over with her beautiful floral wedding hair.
Featuring plaits and plenty of flowers, stylist Tommy Buckett captioned the picture: “Sometimes you just don’t need a veil. Congrats @zosiamamet to being the girl that has never been traditional”.

It’s certainly a time of new beginnings for Zosia, who wrapped up filming for Girls and said goodbye to her long-term character Shoshanna Shapiro just last week.
After filming her final scenes, she wrote on Instagram: “And that’s a wrap. It’s been an unforgettable six years.”
She went on: “To my GIRLS family, I adore you. To our fans, thank you for continuing to watch. And HBO, thanks for giving us a home. Shosh, it’s been real…Ill miss you all”.

Zosia and the X-Men: Days of Future Past actor met in 2013 when they played a couple in the off-Broadway play, Really Really.
The couple have been notoriously private about their relationship, which makes us feel all the more privileged for our glimpse into their big day.
