It’s been two weeks since Aussie golden couple Zoe Ventoura and Dan MacPherson announced they were calling time on their five-year marriage.
And now, the pair have both spoken out for the first time since news of their split caused shockwaves around the nation.
On New Year’s Eve morning, 39-year-old Zoe, who shares a one-year-old son called Austin with Dan, took to Instagram to share a message of hope ahead of the new year.
“Moving into 2021 like 🤸♀️🎉Happy New Year excellent people. Stay safe, big love ❤️,” the Packed To The Rafters star penned, alongside a black-and-white video of her doing a cartwheel.
Her sweet video was quickly inundated from her famous friends and fans alike.
“Happy New Year gorgeous,” singer Natalie Imbruglia said.
“May it bring you peace and happiness,” another wrote.
“Thinking of u Zoe, wishing u and your family good health and happiness in 2021,” a third mused.
Meanwhile her ex Dan, 40, was also reflecting on the turbulent year that was, taking to Twitter to try and sum up the past 12 months.
“Just went scrolling though my camera roll to find a good photo for a ‘Good Riddance 2020’ tweet,” he began.
Despite the personal hardships felt by millions around the world, including his own break-up, Dan admitted there was still so much to be grateful for.
“As I went back, I found myself smiling…. so much to be grateful for in a f—-r of a year.”
“Hope you guys find the goodness too! Thanks 2020, you’ve really been…. something.”
Dan and Zoe shocked fans by officially announcing their break up after five years of marriage earlier in the month.
The couple, who are notoriously private, took to Instagram to post a matching photo and caption to announce the sad news.
“With the greatest respect for each other, Dan and I have separated,” Zoe explained at the time.
“Together, we will continue wholeheartedly to raise our beautiful boy Austin. He is, and will forever be, our greatest priority ❤.”
“We ask for your respect and will be making no further comment.”
After five years of marriage, Zoe and Dan announced their shock split earlier in December.

Zoe and Dan are both infamously hush hush about their personal life and although their first child, Austin, was born in December 2019, it wasn’t until early May that they officially confirmed his birth via a spokesperson.
The couple met and fell in love on the set of Channel Seven drama Wild Boys in 2011.
They secretly tied the knot in Noosa – the same place the actor proposed – four years later and recently moved back to Australia from LA.
The couple will continue to harmoniously co-parent their one-year-old son Austin together.
