Chris Pratt stopped by Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital to brighten up the lives of some sick children by embracing his Jurassic World character.

The 36-year-old re-created his now famous scene in the new film as his character Owen Grady tries to tame three ferocious velociraptors – this time it was three very excited kids.

The dad-of-one was in his element as he entertained, played and revved up the children who had been patients in the hospital for some time and due for a cheer up.

As well as passing on his impressive dinosaur whispering skills, the Guardians of the Galaxy actor gave the kids some toys and signed posters during his lengthy visit.

The staff at the hospital shared on their Facebook page touching photos of the Hollywood Hunk’s visit writing, “Chris Pratt recently used his “raptor whispering” skills to cheer up patients at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital.”

The added: “[He] took time out from filming his latest movie to visit with our ‪#‎AmazingKids‬ at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital. Our patients were all smiles and we are so thankful to Chris for lifting their spirits by visiting and handing out Jurassic World goodies.”

Chris’ daddy skills show as he chatted to the kids and being a father of a once unwell boy, understands how precious little lives are.

He and wife Anna Faris gave birth to Jack Pratt prematurely in 2012, he had to stay in neonatal intensive care for some time as doctors prepared the new parents that their son may have learning difficulties.

Just like his superhero dad though, little Jack proved them wrong as he approaches his third birthday, happy and healthy!

Chris Pratt is truly one of a kind!
