Usher’s five-year-old son has been rushed to hospital after a serious accident in the family’s swimming pool.
According to TMZ, Usher Raymond V got his arm stuck in the pool’s drain while trying to retrieve a stuck toy.
When his aunt and the maid could not free him, two contractors working in the house heard their cries for help and managed to get the boy out and administer CPR.
Luckily, Usher Jr was breathing and conscious on the way to hospital, where Usher and his ex-wife Tameka are apparently at his bedside.
“Tameka got a call from one of Usher’s staff members and rushed to the hospital,” a source told People. “She almost collapsed when she heard the news.”
The incident comes only a year after Usher’s 11-year-old stepson, Kile, was killed in a tragic jet-ski accident.
“[Tameka’s] still not over Kile, and now this happens. She is not going to leave his side now. We’re all lifting him up in prayer,” the source added.
