Blinky Bill is back, and on the silver screen this time, with an extended teaser trailer doing rounds on the internet this morning.
Our nation’s favourite koala joins his friends on cinema screens in September.
And adventure not only has a new name, but a new voice, in actor Ryan Kwanten who stars as Blinky Bill.
The Aussie jumped from his Home and Away roots to television screens in the US years ago, and has been starring as a character in the American TV series True Blood until last year.
Kwanten joins a stellar cast in this Aussie cartoon classic, with names including Deborah Mailman, Barry Humphries, Toni Collette and Richard Roxburgh.
While Blinky Bill 2.0 is no longer our 2D furry friend, the film will still be a must see. Just for the adventure, of course.
And we hope it’s extraordinary!
