Sam Rouen, who appeared on the Channel Ten show back on 2008, is set to wed his flight attendant girlfriend.
The 27-year-old shared the exciting news in a heartfelt Instagram post.
“It’s not everyday you ask the person you love to marry them. Today was definitely a special day and one we will never forget,” Sam penned alongside the above image.
“Excited to see what the future hols and feel incredibly blessed to have such a loving partner and amazing families on both sides.”
What a rock! Daniella shared this photo of her pear-cut sparkler from Sam.
“Thank you for (eventually) saying yes, I’m definitely the luckiest guy in the world,” he concluded, hinting that perhaps it wasn’t the first time he’d asked for her hand in marriage.
Daniella also took to social media to share a snap of her incredible pear-cut sparkler.
Sam became a household name after he shed a whopping 72-kilograms on The Biggest Loser.

Since then, he’s transformed from a shy teenager into a confident young adult.
Just last year Sam introduced the world to his love interest at the time, Natalie Pagett however it seems their romance was short-lived.
“I tried not to think much of relationships. I’d figured I wasn’t ever going to be lucky in that department and basically wrote it off,” he told us at the time.
