They say that every new chapter in your life needs a different hairstyle, and it certainly looks like Alex Nation is taking that advice seriously!
The Bachelor winner has traded in her honey locks for something a bit more summer-ready, and we have a feeling Richie will approve…
The 25 year-old took to Instagram to share an image of her new, lighter hair.
She wrote: “This weather can stay. @hairbyjesslewis, you can also stay in my life, forever! Thank you so much for my fresh locks- you are a queen”.
The reality TV star’s hairdresser also shared an image of her work, revealling that she used a conditioning Opalex treatment to keep Alex’s new light blonde locks in good nick.
“So much yes to @alexandranation as a blonde 🌹👸🏼 #hairbyjesslewis #olaplex” the beauty expert shared.
Throughout this season’s The Bachelor, it became a running joke that Richie has a thing for blondes.
Former contestant Sasha Zhuravlyova joked to news.com.au: “In the house we [dark-haired contestants] were like, ‘can we get some blonde dye?”

We wonder what the other man in her life, Alex’s 5 year-old son Elijah, will think of the new ‘do?
The little man has got plenty of new, exciting things to looks forward to – particularly as he still hasn’t met his mum’s new beau yet!
“My two handsome boys are still yet to meet,” Alex wrote in response to an Instagram commenter. “However, I just know with my whole heart that Richie will be awesome.”
She added: “When Elijah meets Richie that will be a very special moment for us. It’s something that we don’t want to rush and it’s important to us that we wait until the time is right”.
Elijah is yet to meet Richie.
Meanwhile, Alex has opened up about her son’s future, and revealed that she’d love for him to “meet someone like Nikki’ when he grows up.
Speaking about her fellow former The Bachelor contestant, Alex made the comment in response to some remarks by her followers as she shared an image of herself and Elijah.
One of Alex’s fans wrote: “Maybe Elijah will give Nikki her rose.”
Alex then replied: “If Elijah was to meet someone like Nikki when he was older, I’d be pretty stoked”.
