The brave 25-year-old was recently spotted looking pale and drawn at Sydney Airport.
The actress looked downcast as she was preparing for her flight to LA.
Her friends have revealed that she is increasingly torn between following in the footsteps of soapie alumni Margot Robbie and Chris Hemsworth in trying to crack Hollywood, and life at home with her “rock” husband, rugby league star Nate Myles.
“Tess is finding it really hard being away from Nate,” a friend reveals.
“Any long-distance relationship is tough, but to have gone through what those two have, facing such a traumatic experience together, it was always going to be difficult. She’s finding it really lonely without Nate.”
