The Grammy Award-winning artist has described himself as the “number one human being in music” but that’s not quite enough for Kanye West, who has now been awarded an honourary doctorate.
Now adding Doctor to his repertoire, Kanye donned a formal cap and gown as The School of the Art Institute of Chicago presented him with the accolade.
The rapper received his new title and gave a commencement speech to the school’s graduates, discussing his career as an artist.
“Thank you guys so much. It’s moments like this that make the fight so worth it,” the father-of-one said.
Sharing a photo of her hubbie on social media, Kim gushed: “Dr. Kanye West!!!!!!! I’m so proud of you baby & I know your mom would be so proud too!!!!”
Just a day earlier, the 37-year-old rapper treated his beloved to a special Mother’s Day surprise.
Kim was in Brazil promoting her new collection for the occasion, but Kanye still managed to fill her hotel room with thousands of roses.
Mrs Kardashian West told her fans: “I got to my room in Brazil and my amazing thoughtful husband had the sweetest note with a couple thousand roses covering my entire suite for Mothers Day!”
She added: “I’m so sad I’m so far away on this day but happy we celebrated yesterday! I love you baby & North soooo much!!!”

In what was a busy weekend for the self-proclaimed “pop enigma”, he also managed to squeeze in a basketball game during his stay in Chicago but not before becoming the subject of a now viral video.
Kanye was seen happily chatting and smiling to friend Scottie Pippen before realising a camera was filming him.
The hilarious clip depicts the Jesus Walks singer immediately stop smiling and replace his expression with the stern look he’s known for. The six-second clip has already been viewed almost 16 million times.
