After lockdowns, the Today Extra host’s return to work after her maternity leave and Christmas, the girls found the perfect weekend to get away and celebrate the special milestone.

Sylvia spoilt her sister with a gorgeous “Happy 40th” cake, a day by the pool with plenty of cocktails, and goofy selfies.

“I was a little late to the party (4 months and 1 day to be precise) but better late than never. Best Sisters’ Weekend yet. @cfgoing 🎂💃🏼,” the mum-of-two captioned a slew of photos of herself and Claire.

Sylvia gushed about finally reuniting with her dear sister earlier during their trip.

Alongside a gorgeous selfie of the girls beaming in their matching white tops and mid-length blond hair she shared, “Making up for lost time and missed milestones. Missed my sissy so much. @cfgoing.”

In her comment’s section, Sylvia’s sister-in-law Jasmine Stefanovic wrote, “So beautiful you two 🤍🤍,” and her colleague Belinda Russell shared, “White hot! 🤍🤍.”

For Claire’s fancy birthday dinner, she wore a stylish mid-dress from Camilla and Marc, which featured on-trend cutouts around the waist and padded shoulders.

She paired her look with strappy black heels, and ever down-to-earth, Sylvia did her own hair and makeup for the event, which was made clear via the hair curlers and products sprawled across her hotel bathroom.

Even television hosts make a mess in their bathrooms!

The last time fans saw the sisters together was in April last year when Claire jetted to Sydney from interstate to help Sylvia with her then-newborn, Henry.

Clearly smitten with her new nephew, Claire commented under the pic: “…and she loved every minute! Thanks for having me xxx.”
