She shocked fans with news of her sudden split from millionaire Stu Laundy after just six months, but good old Sophie Monk won’t be crying into her Ben & Jerry’s for long!

Nup, Australia’s favourite bachelorette has already got her sights set on her next high-profile romance… with none other than her “ex” Shane Warne!

Yep, NW hears that unlucky-in-love Soph, 38, is keen to hand Warnie, 48, a red rose (again!) – and word is they’re already back in contact.

“They’re actually perfect for each other – and the chemistry is insane,” an insider gushes.

“They’re actually perfect for each other – and the chemistry is insane!”

“They’re both hard-working and love to party. Plus, they already know each other really well! Sophie has always said she’d love a good Aussie bloke, and with Shane recently becoming single, too, the timing seems too good to be true… It’s like fate!”

Well, kind of. The couple first sparked romance rumours in 2014 after being photographed on an intimate date in London. When quizzed about their naughty night together shortly after, a shy Soph responded, “Who told you we kissed?”

The whole thing then turned more awkies than adorbs as Shane, who was dating model Emily Scott at the time, publicly denied everything, insisting, “That’s not true.”

Stu and Sophie called it quits after realising they were better off as mates.

Soph then spat back, “I don’t lie,” before appearing to, er, Warne him off for good. Well, until now!

According to our source, the new Love Island host’s been back in touch with ladies’ man Shane, who follows her on Instagram and has apparently been “obsessed” with her since her stint on The Bachelorette.

“He’s always had a thing for Soph,” claims our source. “He thinks she’s gorgeous and hilarious.”
