Rumours were rife last year ahead of The Bachelorette Australia’s premiere that Dancing With The Stars judge Sharna Burgess was set to become our next leading lady.
Chatting to TV WEEK, Sharna revealed she’d previously joked about becoming the Bachelorette at the Melbourne Cup in 2019. The lighthearted comment then took on a life of its own.
“Ten were saying to me, ‘Are you serious about this? Would you want to do it? Let’s have a conversation,'” she said at the time.
“And then I realised this could be a real thing if I wanted it to be.”
The red-headed bombshell was rumoured to be the next lady handing out the red roses.
(Channel Ten)While it didn’t come to fruition, with sister duo Elly and Becky Miles becoming the Bachelorettes for 2020, it seems Sharna may have gotten her rosy love story after all – with our ultimate 90s crush, 90210 star Brian Austin Green.
Playing it cool, Brian was recently asked about his budding romance with Sharna after months of rumours, and finally confirmed their relationship… kind of.
“It’s all going really well right now. It’s early on, so we don’t have any labels or anything, obviously, but we’re really enjoying each other’s company,” he told Access Daily.
He then went on to add: “She’s super responsible and she’s super sweet and caring, passionate, fun to be around, so I feel blessed right now.”

(Instagram)The Beverly Hills, 90210 star recently split from wife, Megan Fox, who he shares three kids with, and revealed he was set up on his date with Sharna despite apprehension he was ready to move on.
“I begrudgingly went, and we met and we had great conversation, so it’s been great,” the 47-year-old explained.
The DWTS judge sparked dating rumours with the 90s heartthrob after being spotted boarding a flight together in December last year.
Eagle-eyed fans then noted both Sharna and Brian shared matching New Year’s Instagram posts from the same tropical location.
The couple were then photographed looking very cosy during their Hawaiian getaway, all but confirming themselves they were an item.
All smiles while vacationing, and now we know why.

“I say this with love and kindness…Let it go,” she wrote in response to probing fans.
That is, until today, following on from Brain’s interview confirming the romance. the dancer and TV personality has taken to Instagram to share a very cute albeit cheesy confirmation of the relationship.
Our hearts may be hurting just a little that our 90s TV crush is already spoken for again, but we couldn’t be more excited about this pairing.
