Schapelle Corby sets the record straight on plastic surgery, her weight battles and her secret to shedding kilos fast

She also reveals the superfoods that have changed her life.

What did you do when you woke up today?
First thing in the morning I drink apple cider vinegar and water to get my metabolism going. I fill up a glass and put in a tablespoon or two, however much I can stomach. It's not nice but you just block your nose! I started doing that about six months before I came back.
It's the start of my day now and if I don't have it, I feel like I'm wanting it. I feel like it's cleaning my blood and unblocking me. If I have lemons I will put in half a lemon, which is better, but that's not always possible because lemons can be expensive! I do a juice each day too with pawpaw, water, spirulina, turmeric and chia seeds. I use pawpaw because it keeps you regular and it's good for your skin.
What did you eat for lunch?
Salad with cheese. And tofu.
Are you trying to lose weight?
Well, let's just say it's a big salad! Like a B-I-G bowl!
So portion sizes are your issue?
I try not to eat breads. I LOVE bread, and love rice as well, but I try not to eat it. When I'm at home I eat salad. I cook Indonesian food. I love cooking. Sometimes people are like, "Could you just cook something normal please?" but I'm like, grab this, grab a bit of that, and use a lot of herbs and chillies. I can just take anything really and make something up in my head.
But my favourite Indo meal is probably fish soup, followed by fried rice. And sambal – that's chilli sauce – I love all different ways to make sambal.

Do you diet?
I did a juice diet for three weeks. Oh my goodness, I BLEW UP! I was making my own juices, but with coconut water – and it blew me up. It looked like someone had put a straw in my mouth and blown me up! I couldn't understand it. I was huge! Now I'm trying intermittent fasting.
Your body needs to fast to lose weight. I'm quite large, I need to watch what I eat. I need to have that feeling of hungriness to be able to lose weight.
Are you a vegetarian?
I'm a pescatarian. I eat seafood, just not oysters. I haven't eaten meat in like eight years. When I was young we had a pet pig, a piglet. My favourite meat was pork chops.
There was this piglet [in jail], whose name was Pig Creek, but we called him PC, or pork chop. When I was in jail there was so much animal waste, and because we had the pig, I thought, this is just like cooking a dog, it's family, and that's why I became vegetarian.
You look younger than 40, and there's been speculation you've had plastic surgery. Have you?
No, no fillers, no Botox. I just use Snapchat and Instagram filters! I look at a photo of me and think, "Gee, that's ugly," and then I put a filter on it and think, "Actually, it's pretty good!"
I do get a lot of people commenting saying things like, "Oh, you've had Botox," and I say to myself, "Oh, shut up. You're young, you know how it works, you know that's just all the good filters!" I don't think young people should get Botox or fillers.
What's your beauty regimen now?
I use coconut on my skin, pure coconut oil from a jar -- just rub it in my hands and all over my skin. And I use it on my hair as well.
If I'm not doing anything during the day, I put it in, right up through my roots, then put my hair in a bun and wash it out at night.
What do you use on your face?
Karinda, all natural Australian products.
How do you take care of your skin?
My mum has a swimming pool and I don't really work, so there is no excuse not to have vitamin D, but when I'm in the sun I try to cover my face.
I try to read covering my face with a book as I do my best to prevent sun damage to my face.
How do you exercise?
I try to sweat every day. Sometimes I do the Alisha Marie butt lift on YouTube. It's only 11 minutes. She's always encouraging -- she's pushing you and it's not strenuous.
How did you cope with being out of action after you broke your leg last year?
I hated not being able to exercise, which is why I really had to concentrate on not eating fatty food. My body blows up so easily -- I had to concentrate on not eating bread or carbs. I had to watch what I ate during that time.
And then when I started getting better, and the doctor said I could walk 15 minutes a day, I found [my new dog] Lucille. It's boring going for a walk, and I'm hobbling, so Lucille has been a great help with the walking.
Have you stepped up the exercise now?
I walk faster. I wasn't allowed to walk on the sand for a year. I get piggybacked down! I'm just getting used to getting up and down the stairs completely without swinging my leg out but actually bending it.
What are you keen to do once your leg has healed?
I just want to jog again. I was starting… fast-paced walking, jog fast-paced walk jog, and I saw the weight drop off. My double chin disappeared, my thigh fat went, and that was in three months of jogging. Then the media came and hung out in my street [before I came back]. I didn't get out to do any exercise again. Then I came home and I broke my leg.
"I have to watch what I eat and I have to exercise, but it's a chore. I'm trying intermittent fasting now," Schapelle says.
So what did you do for exercise all those years ago before you went to Bali?
Just surfing -- no jogging or walking. Surfing is a huge workout in itself, you don't even sweat because you're in the water. I was a body boarder so I had the legs and the arms.
Do you have a healthy lifestyle now?
I try to. I don't feel like being a vegetarian is being part of keeping fit or healthy or anything. It's just part of my morals.
I have a body type that is quite large, so I have to work at it. I have to watch what I eat. I have to do exercise. It's a chore for me though!
What do you do in terms of exercise then?
Obviously not much! Not enough! Every morning before I even get out of bed, I do 20 sit-ups, right there on my bed.
Then I go to the toilet, clean my teeth and drink apple cider vinegar and water to get my metabolism going.
What's you're go-to health products?
Liquid chlorophyll because you need to incorporate spirulina into your daily diet – it cleans your blood and cleans your skins.
It's a really good thing to incorporate into your life – apple cider in the morning and liquid chlorophyll before bed. I do my juices and have spirulina in powder form.

Do you eat breakfast?
I'm trying intermittent fasting. This is what my brother is doing now. Your body needs to fast to lose weight. I'm quite large, I need to watch what I eat. I need to have that feeling of hungriness to be able to lose weight.
Also eating the wrong things is bad. I did a juice diet for three weeks. Oh my goodness, I BLEW UP! I was making my own juices but with coconut water – and it blew me up. It looked like someone had put a straw in my mouth and blown me up! I couldn't understand it! I was huge!
Did you enjoy your first ever photoshoot?
Yes! You just need a spray tan to feel comfortable. My favourite shot was where I was holding the pineapple. I'm in a one-piece. Sometimes too much skin is overbearing, not just for myself but looking at people on Instagram. I'm like, "Do I need to see that?"
