Sam Mac and girlfriend Rebecca James are currently holidaying in Kangaroo Valley but the Sunrise weatherman made sure to celebrate his other half’s birthday with a sweet tribute.
Posting a picture on Instagram of Rebecca posing alongside a bookshelf with her burgeoning bump on display, Sam penned an emotional message.
“The two best things to ever happen to me 💚 Happy Birthday my love x @rebeccajames_stylist,” he penned.

Former Sunrise host Sam Armytage commented, “Happy birthday @rebeccajames_stylist 🥳🎉😘.”
“Happy birthday @rebeccajames_stylist You’ve snagged yourself a good man,” wrote radio personality Ryan ‘Fitzy’ Fitzgerald.
Sam announced his exciting news in April on Instagram by sharing a photo of himself with Bec as she held up an image of his face on a phone over her stomach.
They announced their pregnancy earlier this year.

The soon-to-be-mum shared a similar photo to her own profile, writing: “Well this escalated. See you in September baby Mac.”
Shortly after the announcement, Sam shared a compilation video of the moment they shared the news with their family and friends.
TV vet Dr Chris Brown was also featured in the announcement, and the shock of the news was written all over his face.
“The split second we showed @drchrisbrown the scan on FaceTime,” Sam wrote. “Clearly my friends have complete faith & confidence in my ability to be a dad.”

The couple met when a mutual friend connected them on Instagram, and after six months of Zooms, messages, and calls in lockdown during 2020, they finally met in person when Rebecca flew from Melbourne to Sydney.
They didn’t waste time getting serious, and over a year later, they finished renovating their house.
